Description

The craft piece is a pure silk cotton saree articulated by Banarasi weavers. This black color delicate Banarasi saree is made by using jacquard weave with silk yarns as warp and cotton yarns as weft. The centre part of saree is graphed as a plain black color solid to make it an awe-inspiring dress as an evening party wear. The border of the saree is designed with fluent floral motifs with the use of contrasting pink and blue Resham yarn and antique gold zari whereas anchal is highlighted with solid antique gold zari.

Jacquard is a weaving technique used in looms to get the desired pattern in woven form.

The saree is approximately 5.5 meters in length and 44 inches in width and comes with an attached blouse piece of length approximately 0.75 meters. It weighs around 400 grams.

The yarns are hand dyed, so it is always advisable to dry clean the saree.
